Confirmation

“They sent them to Peter and John, who came down and prayed wit hthem that they might receive the Holy Spirit; for it had not yet fallen on any of them, because they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.  Then they laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 8:14-17)

 

Confirmation for Teens:
The Rite of Confirmation for Teens is coordinated through the Office of Faith Formation.  Baptized teens that have received the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist, and who are in the eighth grade or above, and who have attended the previous year of our parish religious education program may enroll in Confirmation classes.  Students enrolled in a Catholic school for a minimum of one year prior to the year of immediate preparation, and are currently enrolled in the eighth grade at a Catholic school are also eligible.

Confirmation for Adults:
Baptized Adults who practice their Catholic Faith but who have not yet been Confirmed  should contact the Faith Formation office at (727) 842-9396.
